Juveniles of the species found on Albert Pier reef, Penzance, Cornwall. 30.07.14. A few juveniles found on sand in pools on the lowershore. Eggs found laid wrapped aroud Sargasum muticum in a large middleshore pool.

Backbones and eggs of this species are common finds on the strandline (high tide mark) across the westcountry. Images were taken at Spit Point, Par Beach, Par; on the beach at Gwithian Towans, near Hayle; and near Long Rock, Mounts Bay, Penzance, Cornwall.
