Specimen above found in Newlyn Harbour, Newlyn, Cornwall, 06.09.16.

What is seen is the egg mass, the parasite is inside the body of the sea slug and has to be dissected from it to be observed.

The nudibranch Trinchesia foliata syn. Tenellia foliata and Cuthona foliata.
