Length 40mm, fish was found inside an old egg case of a Greater Spotted Dogfish, NE of St. Michael's Mount, Marazion, near Penzance, Cornwall. 23.01.11; Battery Rocks, Penzance. 09.02.12; also Chimney Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. 25.07.13.

A male fish was found caring for eggs laid on the ruff / foulds of the brown algae Furbelows, Saccorhiza polyschides. Juveniles were hatching from the eggs, see above.

Simply because it supports the core values of wildlife recording and the free use of records and data over a very wide network that includes partners like the Natural History Museum.
