Recommended places to visit to see Hydroids -
Much dependant on species but try rockpools on eastern side of Par Beach and Spit Point Par, Cornwall; Carlyon Beach for shells with snail fur; Plymouth Sound and Tamar Estuaries for Sea Firs; and all coasts after summer and winter storms for mass strandings of Velella.
