Specimens above found on the shore at Chimney Rocks, Penzance, 08.02.15; Marazion, 11.03.09; and at Downderry, Cornwall, 17.01.06.

It is the keeled telson that separates this species from other species. Sometimes close examination is needed to see a keel, especially in smaller individuals.
