Images were taken at Constantine Beach, North Cornwall. 10.12.09. Images are of a male pup, 3-5 weeks old, and 17kg in weight. Pup was first sighted by author and his partner coming out of the water during a storm. Pup headed up the beach straight towards us. The pup was injured so the emergency services were phoned and the pup was duly rescued and received by the RSPCA West Hatch Wildlife Centre, where it was treated, and a few months later released back into Cornish Waters.

A happy ending for such a beautiful creature.
