Thanks go to the collembola expert Frans Janssens for helping identify this species. Frans says the genus could be Anuridella given the high length/wide ratio, but there are a few similar looking species which can only be identified by making microscope slide mounts.

Species found on the extreme lowershore in a Mylor Slate rock crevice, at Long Rock, Penzance, Cornwall. 23.08.13.
