Species found growing epiphytically on another algae, in a pool on the lowershore at Chimney Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. 24.01.15.

Callithamnion tetragonum var. brachiatum (Bonnemaison) J.Agardh is accepted as Callithamnion tetragonum (Withering) S.F.Gray, 1821. I have added this growth form here because of how distinct it is.
