Images taken at Battery Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. Algae discovered under a sheltered overhang on the lowershore; hundreds of the Purse Sponge, Grantia compressa were also found attached to the weed.

Plumaria plumosa, synonyms Plumaria elegans, Ceramium plumosum.
