Specimens / colony above was found in a hollow in the rock at the extra low spring tide level at Godrevy Rocks, near Hayle, Cornwall, 08.06.16. The nemertean Vieitezia luzmurubeae was also found in association with this colony.

Specimens / colonies above were found on the extreme lowershorea at Batten Beach, Mount Batten, Plymouth, Devon. 28.01.06, 01.03.06 and 12.09.14; and at Stackhouse Cove, near Rosudgeon, Cornwall. 21.01.11.

Also once commonly called the Currant squirter.
