The Flat Periwrinkle is a very common find on most beaches, rocky shores and estuaries across the region. It is also very variable in colour, and yellow, orange, brown, green and black forms are commonly found. Be on the look out for the more unusual banded colour forms of this species on all coasts and tide levels.
