APHOTOMARINE

A common snail on all rocky shores across the south west; often found quite high up the shore on the middle and uppershore. Images taken at various locations including; Spit Point, Par, Cornwall; Chyandour Rocks, Penzance; and Tavis Vor near Mousehole, Cornwall.

Scientific and European Names:
Osilinus lineatus, Monodonta lineata, Thick top shell, Toothed top shell, Toothed winkle, Gewone tandtolhoren, Tandtolhoren.
