The specimen above was found in a small sample of red algae taken from the lowershore at Trefusis Point Flushing, near Penryn, Cornwall, 24.09.18.

Species frequently found to occur in tubes of annelid worm species in crevices. The species was particularly found in wet rock crevices, and crevices that had algae covering the entrance to the crevice. The species does not exceed 15mm in length.
