Species found near foot of stipe of Treptacantha sp. (Cystoseira), overgrowing what appears to be the bryozoan Electra pilosa and red encrusting algae Melobesia membranacea. Found near slipway on a low spring tide in the south west corner of Newlyn Harbour, Newlyn, Cornwall, 28.01.17.

The Treptacantha syn. Cystoseira species was either T. baccata or T. nodicaulis, both are found at the site.
