The species was found creeping along the bryozoan Amathia sp. syn. Bowerbankia sp. which was growing thickly on the brown algae Fucus serratus, Saw Wrack. The material sampled was collected on the low tide mark between Ashtorre Community Center and the pillar for Brunel's railway bridge, Saltash, Cornwall, collected on a low spring tide, 06.03.22.
