Specimen above approx. 0.27mm in diameter, found in debris knocked off a crab pot that appeared to have been in the water for some time, being recently caught in a trawl and brought to shore. Newlyn Marina, Newlyn, Cornwall. 29.08.15.

Specimen above is just under 0.3mm in diameter, and was found on saponifying and washing the matted sponge covered bases of the hydroid Nemertesia ramosa, which was brough ashore as accidental debris, found in a box of Gurnard at Newlyn Fish Market, Newlyn, Cornwall, 23.01.17.
