- specimen from Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, images by Cai-Uso Wohler.

Quinqueloculina seminula here displayed was in sand collected by Adrian Brokenshire at an unknown location at Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, collection date unknown. The specimen has not been verified.

In Cornwall this species was found by Edward Heron-Allen FRS between 1914 and 1929, in Whitsand Bay and in Cawsand Bay and at the Eddystone. He refers to the species as being universally distributed in Cornwall. Prof. J. Clark recorded the species from Mounts Bay in the west to Cawsand Bay in the east, also recording it on the north coast at St. Ives and Padstow, all pre. 1906. All records above as Quinqueloculina seminulum.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the wildlife of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
