Specimen found creeping across a small red algae found in an under-boulder pool on the extreme lowershore at Sennen Cove, Cornwall, 25.05.17.

This species could in theory be confused with Dynamena pumila, but this species is much smaller and more delicate. Your more likely to notice it under a microscope than in a pool on the lowershore, this specimen was found using a microscope.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the wildlife of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
