Caterpillars of the species were found under Atriplex glabruiscula, Babington's Orache on the beach at Sennen Cove, Cornwall. 10.09.13.

This species is common and widespread around the UK and not limited to beaches, it can be found on its foodplants Orache (Atriplex) and Goosefoot (Chenopodium), almost anywhere.
