Specimens were kindly donated for purpose of photography by Trelawney Fish & Deli, Strand, Newlyn, Cornwall. 17.01.17.

European anchovy had been being caught by boats in Mounts Bay, Cornwall for a number of weeks, and were quite plentiful.
