Species found in a sample consisting largely of algae, tube worms and sea squirts. Sample was collected from a pontoon at Newlyn Marina, Newlyn, Cornwall. 13.12.14.

Thanks to Arne Nygren for assisting with the identification of this specimen, which was determined by DNA sequencing.

Eumida taygete Nygren & Pleijel, 2010 is a cryptic species derived from Eumida cf. sanguinea.
