Specimen found east of St. Michael's Mount causeway at Marazion, Penzance, Cornwall. 17.10.12.

Specimen was approx. 40mm in length, sexually mature as eggs could clearly be seen under the skin. Cerebral ganglia are pinky-red and approx. seven inconspicuous pairs of eyes can be found on the sides of the head. Autotomises readily. Was found under a stone on the lowershore that was was sat on coarse shellsand.

Specimen found under a rock in a pool margin, with shell sand underneath the rock, at Chimney Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. 27.02.13.

This species appears to be occasional in similar habitats in Mounts Bay, specimens being found in the past but their identity unresolved. Species also likely to have been found at Wherry Rocks, Penzance, 06.04.12.

The species appears to agree with Amphophorus lactifloreus.
